How to earn the Delivery Sort Container Discount
Here are the scenarios regarding the Delivery Sort Container Discount.
Scenario 1: Packages on Pallets
- Pallet Level can be CRD or CR5
- Rate Code can be CR, HD, HP or WS
- Package Level must be CRD
- Pallet can be for any Entry, e.g., None, DSCF, DNDC, DDU
Scenario 2: Containers on Pallets
- Pallet can be for any Entry, e.g., None, DSCF, DNDC, DDU
- The pallet, not the container on the pallet, is evaluated for the discount
Scenario 3: Flat Trays and Sacks
- Tray/Sack Level must be CRD
- Rate Code can be CR, HD, HP or WS
- Package Level must be CRD
- DDU Discount Required
- Tray/Sack Levels CR5 and CR3 do not qualify
Listed below do not qualify for Delivery Sort Container Discount
- Flat Trays on Pallets (the pallet, not the tray on pallet, qualifies for the Delivery Sort Container Discount)
- The Flat Tray Level does not matter
- Only Scenario 1 applies to Pallets
- Sacks do not ever qualify for the SCF Pallet Discount
