USPS Guidance for Files with ADC/AADC Container and Rate Categories Entered after July 12
July 12, 2026
On Sunday July 12, 2026, the USPS will officially eliminate all ADC and AADC entry and presort rate categories as part of the July price change.
Please be aware that the PostalOne! System is currently set up to enforce a strict, zero-tolerance cutoff. Any file uploaded on or after July 12 containing legacy ADC/AADC container and rate categories will immediately fail validation and be rejected.
Traditionally with each rate change there is a grace period allowed to enter mail that has been paid with current rates up to two weeks after the price change date. USPS still extends that two-week grace period for entry of the mail, but that does not normally extend to the ability to upload eDoc and pay for the mail, there is normally no grace period for that process.
If you are presorting jobs today that will be mailed/paid on or after July 12, you must use updated software reflecting the new SCF/Mixed standards.
Do not attempt to upload pre-staged files using outdated rate categories. If, on or after July 12th, you have jobs that have not yet paid but include ADC/AADC container and rate categories, they will fail in PostalOne! without any mitigation.
