USPS Recommends Competitive Price Changes for July 2026

May 11, 2026

The United States Postal Service (USPS) filed notice with the Postal Regulatory Commission (PRC) today to adjust prices on domestic competitive package and service offerings. Pending favorable review and comments from the PRC, these price changes and adjustments will take effect on July 12.

Changes include elimination of ounce-based rate differentiation for published Commercial USPS Ground Advantage prices, which will not impact customers that have negotiated commercial rates for USPS Ground Advantage; and a competitive PO Box price increase of 3 percent.

Shipping Services prices are primarily adjusted according to market conditions. The Postal Service governors evaluate shipping rates and fees and adjust them when needed as part of Postal Service’s 10-year network modernization plan to return the organization to financial sustainability and achieve service excellence while maintaining universal six-day mail delivery and expanding seven-day package delivery.

The complete Postal Service price filings with prices for all products can be found on the PRC website under the Daily Listings section. For the Shipping Services filing, see Docket No. CP2026-8.

I wanted to take a minute to write accolades for your employee Eric Lambeth. I have been calling on Eric for training and help in the Accuzip software since May and I want you to know that from a client standpoint, he is second to none! Eric has gone way above and beyond in helping me learn and navigate your software as well as helping us through some crazy situations we have encountered. It is clearly evident that he knows this software inside and out. It is also evident that Eric loves the customer and is willing to do whatever it takes to help – he has even answered emails and called me on the weekend to help through some stuff I was unsure of! I cannot express enough how wonderful Eric has been for our organization. I will tell you that I came to this organization with a background in BCC software with plans to transition to BCC software. Eric’s knowledge, guidance, training, and willingness to help at all hours of the day/week has sold me on Accuzip! Your software solution is more user friendly and the support staff far exceeds BCC! I am also looking forward to investigating your other software solutions.
