USPS Business Customer Training Series-Automated Certificate of Mailing

The Postal Service has added two sessions to the bi-weekly webinars on Automated Certificate of Mailing. Effective January 2024, customers sending more than 50 pieces through the BMEU now have the option for the automated method of Certificate of Mailing. The USPS will provide a training session on this process and its benefits to mailers.

The automated solution provides customers with an alternative to traditional hardcopy forms. The USPS encourages customers to adopt this automated solution, as it will reduce the administrative time for handling Certificates of Mailing, enhance security, and increase visibility throughout the mailing process. There is no impact on the Retail channel.

The automated forms for extra services were implemented to be used as an alternative to the hardcopy forms detailed here:

  1. 3606-D (Bulk Certificate of Mailing)
  2. 3665 (Certificate of Mailing)
  3. 3877 (Firm Book for Accountable Mail)

The Postal Service will continue hosting bi-weekly webinars on utilizing the Business Customer Gateway (BCG) for electronic documentation (eDoc) and postage statement submission

Prior to Accuzip we used SAP Postalsoft. We looked for its replacement and chose Accuzip based on testimonials of how great customer service was and on pricing which was very attractive. Best move we've ever made in software and you folks live up to all the good things I heard. I still get calls every 6 months from FirstLogic ( a distributer of the old Postalsoft and others) to see if I'm still happy with Accuzip. I always say the same thing: Yes, very happy.
