The Intelligent Mail Barcode is required for automation rates

For automation letters and flats, an Intelligent Mail barcode (IMb™) is required. This rule, reported in the USPS Federal Register, discontinues automation price eligibility based on the use of POSTNET™ barcodes on all types of mail. The implementation date was January 28, 2013. For Parcels, you'll need an Intelligent Mail Package Barcode (IMpb)

Use the Intelligent Mail Barcode for tracking mail

IM Barcode scans by the post office are updated on the hour, every hour. Upload your file through your iAccuTrace Mail Tracking web portal and begin tracking and viewing your results from the very first scan (origin point) all the way to the final destination. The results of Intelligent Mail Barcode scans can be viewed via pinpoints on a Google Map so clients can see the exact travel points of the mail piece through the USPS Postal stream.

Each Mailing has its own URL

Print the Intelligent Mail Barcode on your mail piece, then upload that mailing list to the iAccuTrace web portal. iAccuTrace generates a unique URL for each mailing job. This unique URL can be emailed to the list owner to track their mail themselves and does not require a special log in. The user simply clicks the unique URL and their job appears on your branded site, which can be viewed on any computer, tablet, or smartphone.

Stay on top of the mail you send

Easily view all scanned pieces then click the map icon to see the mail entry point, each IM Barcode scan, and final destination plotted on a Google map. View mail-pieces "Out for Delivery Today" and use the user defined fields in iAccuTrace to create a Call List for sales people. The Tracking Code file can include User Defined data to be used to contact the customer when a mail-piece is Out for Delivery.
