Export any field from the presort.ini file

To Export any item from the presort.ini settings after Presorting, from your Export window, follow these steps (in this example, export Jobtitle and Jobid from maildat settings):

• Presort the list
• Click Labels from the Print Presort window
• Select Disk File from the Output drop down
• Select any Saved Export Map you have created, or create a new one by adding fields to the Export Fields Attributes grid.

Adding JOBTITLE and JOBID output fields:

1. At the bottom of the “Export Fields Attributes” grid, there is a “Add User Defined Line to Export” button. Click it once
2. A new field is created at the bottom. Highlight the default field named “Field?” and rename the field. This field will hold the JOBTITLE
3. Press TAB and change the “Len” value. Max is 254 characters.
4. Press TAB and copy/paste this Expression: GetIniValue(FORCEEXT(DBF("_azqualification"),"ini"),"JOBTITLE")
5. Repeat Steps 1-3
6. Press TAB and copy/paste this Expression: GetIniValue(FORCEEXT(DBF("_azqualification"),"ini"),"JOBID")
7. Click the Save button next to “Export Maps” to Save the changes you made to the new Export settings.
8. Click Export.

You can apply this same technique to any setting that exists in the Presort.ini file located inside the Presort Folder.
