USPS will increase the top range of Executive Administrative Schedule (EAS) salaries by 4.7%

January 10, 2024

UPMA has agreed to the new salary ranges as attached. The top of the ranges will increase by 4.7%, and, as in the last few years, UPMA insisted that the bottom of the range increase by the same dollar amount as the top. Also, the increased AL Carry Over and AL Exchange amounts are now to be codified in the ELM. This is an excellent benefit to UPMA members.

While UPMA is pleased with the continued support of the Postal Service compensation in these changes, we look forward to continued dialogue on the EAS pay structure as a whole in 2024. We believe that together we can create a fairer and more fully representative pay structure for all EAS employees with or without a formal pay package.
